Surpassing the Flood

My daughter asked
me once
will we be
able to speak after all
the words are said?
I told her
silence is the reward
not the punishment.

As a small child Corinne Walsh wrote little notes and hid them where strangers might find them. This practice of composing thoughts and writing down observations only to cast them out into the world continues today. The Book of Lu, her first self-published chapbook (March 2022), is a personal journey of love and inspiration which she completed as a collaboration with Luanne Underhill (photographer). Walsh is also the co-founder of the Two Cat Circus Press in Skibbereen, Ireland.
